Richard Bird and Derrick Laird have just set up a brand spanking new WorkFlowy templates site. You get to both search through a growing index of templates… and submit your template links for other WorkFlowyans to peruse and add to their accounts.
If you’ve got any templates that might come in handy to others, pay WorkFlowyTemplates.com a visit, hit the “Add template” button and give your brainchild a worthy description. I’m looking forward to seeing what the WorkFlowy community has to offer: no template is too big nor too small, too weird nor too wonderful. Well… don’t make me eat my words.
Over the coming weeks, Richard and Derrick will be tweaking and adding new features to the site – and they’re counting on your suggestions to polish it up. So please go ahead and leave those in the comments below.

Hi, Am I the only one who, after I import to my workflowy list, can’t edit the templates? It is as if they are read-only. Am I doing something wrong?
Hi Jon. After adding any list to your account (unless someone has specifically given you editing permissions) you need to duplicate the list/ template:
Hover over its bullet > duplicate
You can then remove the original embedded list through the bullet hover-over menu.
Hey all, in case anyone is wondering…. you can tag your templates just like in workflowy. Simply enter the tag in the description. We will work to get them formatted appropriately. The search box allows you to search anything in the card title or description. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Hi Richard. Thanks for the site. I created a template for it. But can’t add it this feature is not working. Can you fix? https://workflowy.com/s/one-on-one-meetings/E48q0AoZ3kMl9mvP
Outstanding! Such a great addition to the community.
Kudos, the site is getting better and better. Well done so far!
Thank you! Excellent idea! And completely agree that it qould be very useful to be able to tag or categorize the submissions, and more importantly, vote on them so popular and useful ones bubble to the top!
Thank you all for your comments and suggestions! We really appreciate them.
I just wanted to let everyone know we are working diligently to get these enhancements and issues in there as quickly as possible.
Looks like there are still some titles being cut off for some that are too long. Also, the ability to go back and edit the post would be nice, since after seeing others’ posts, my description was too long.
What an excellent resource! thanks for this, I love getting inspiration from other users
Just uploaded a framework i use to create and manage directors meetings for various companies. Its a bit rough and I’m sure can be improved but its a start!
This is fantastic. Looking forward to seeing the Workflowy Community grow!!
I’ve been on Stack Exchange and reddit long enough to know that it would be very useful to be able to tag or categorize the submissions, and more importantly, vote on them so popular and useful ones bubble to the top.
Definitely agree with the tagging. There are already enough to where it needs a little organization.
This is really nice, thanks. I already submitted my template.
Excellent idea!
Cool! Lot’s of people have said this would be a great resource to create! Excited to see how people utilize Workflowy.
